What I used:
- One 6oz can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp brown sugar
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. If making in bulk, ketchup may be canned or frozen for later use.
***This is not quite as “good” as store bought brands, but we are still working on getting this recipe there. The kids don’t seem to notice though, which was ultimately the goal!***
